Be Refreshed!

Be Refreshed!

Life can be a desert, so we need to be refreshed!

There is no better place to find real refreshment than at church. Here we meet Jesus, who is still the best answer to our questions and the only solution to our problems. It is amazing how a book written nearly two millennia again speaks so clearly to our needs today. We invite you to take a load off your feet and off your mind with us this Sunday.

Do look our website over, but there’s no substitute for seeing us in person. We are more than words and pictures. We are real people seeking to make a big deal about Jesus Christ. I hope you will do us the kindness of dropping by this Sunday. I understand that you have many choices in NW Tucson/Marana when it comes to worship, but I think you will find our church refreshing. We’re not about hype but about offering real hope in Jesus.

It would be easier to stay home this Sunday, but everyone who now attends is glad they didn’t.

Give us a visit this weekend. I’ll be looking for you!

Home Study Groups

Home Study Groups

Some of the sweetest times of fellowship and spiritual growth happen in our small groups. It’s a chance for both ladies and men to sink their roots deeper in Christ and in His Church. The ladies and men alternate  every other Weds. at 7pm. In Sept. and Oct., ladies have the 2nd and 4th Weds. and Men meet the 1st and 3rd Weds. (These are home-based studies. Call or email the church for location.)

Our Spring sessions are already underway. Books are available for each group for personal study. The sessions allow for interaction and comment on what has been learned. You are welcome to jump in at any time!

In September, the Ladies’ group began a study of the book of Job with the “Workmen of the Word” Series by Linda Lindley.

Men are studying A Praying Life by Paul Miller. Miller shows us how to connect with the Father even through “messy” prayers. Join us for this encouragement to engage your Father through prayer.

Family Friendly

Family Friendly

Something for everyone!

We’re working hard to make Continental a family-friendly place. Every Sunday morning beginning at 9:30am, we have a class for every age group (children to adult). (And now at this hour we offer “Patch Club” for children grades 1-6.) And at 10:30am, we offer “Children’s Church” for an hour of age-appropriate worship for your little ones (ages 4 to grade 4), while you focus your heart on God’s word for you.

And here’s an extra bonus: Our pastor hosts a “Family Night” on the 1st Sunday of the month at 6pm. This is a one-hour service with songs, Bible lesson(s), a game and treats for families with children taught by Pastor Mike. All for free!

I bet you’ll find Continental a place your whole family will love!
